Currently only 1 type of setting is supported: Machine Overload Setting.

2. Machine Overload Setting

PGOS defines 2 load statuses for the machine:

  • Normal: the machine is performing well and has enough resources for the DS to handle various tasks with ease.
  • Overloaded: the machine is overloaded, and the DS may perform sluggishly when executing various tasks.

The game can define the following states under which a machine is considered Overloaded, and the Enable switch controls whether the state is active.

  • Average CPU Utilization: the average CPU utilization is above the specified percentage for a designated duration.
  • Available Memory: the available memory is below the specified size for a designated duration.
  • Inbound Network Packets: the inbound network packets exceed the specified number for a designated duration.
  • Outbound Network Packets: the outbound network packets exceed the specified number for a designated duration.
  • Inbound Network Traffic: the inbound network traffic exceeds the specified size for a designated duration.
  • Outbound Network Traffic: the outbound network traffic exceeds the specified size for a designated duration.

When the machine is in any of these states, it will be marked as Overloaded status:
