DS Hosting Settings
1. Overview
There are global settings for DS Hosting that the game can configured here: DS Hosting > Settings
Currently only 1 type of setting is supported: Machine Overload Setting.
2. Machine Overload Setting
PGOS defines 2 load statuses for the machine:
- Normal: the machine is performing well and has enough resources for the DS to handle various tasks with ease.
- Overloaded: the machine is overloaded, and the DS may perform sluggishly when executing various tasks.
The game can define the following states under which a machine is considered Overloaded
, and the Enable
switch controls whether the state is active.
- Average CPU Utilization: the average CPU utilization is above the specified percentage for a designated duration.
- Available Memory: the available memory is below the specified size for a designated duration.
- Inbound Network Packets: the inbound network packets exceed the specified number for a designated duration.
- Outbound Network Packets: the outbound network packets exceed the specified number for a designated duration.
- Inbound Network Traffic: the inbound network traffic exceeds the specified size for a designated duration.
- Outbound Network Traffic: the outbound network traffic exceeds the specified size for a designated duration.
When the machine is in any of these states, it will be marked as Overloaded
