How To Apply For New Title Regions
When the game requires a new title region, please provide the following required information to us. PGOS will create a new title region for the game.
Game Name: The name of the game can be modified.
Region Name: It is defined by the game and can be modified.
Title Region Type: We provide three types of title regions as below. It can't be modified.
Dev: it is a development region for game developers. It's only for internal development and testing and can not be used for releasing the game.
Test: it is a test region for game QA. It's only for internal testing and can not be used for releasing the game.
Prod: it is a production region for releasing the game.
Cloud Provider: so far we support Tencent Cloud and AWS Cloud. Please choose the Cloud the game will use. It can't be modified.
Deployment Zone: the location where you want to deploy the PGOS services.
DDL: The date you expect us to deliver the new title regions.

If the game needs to deploy in more locations and cloud, we can also do it. Normally we need 2-3 days to finish the new location deployment. If you just need a new title region in an available data center, we can finish the deployment automatically in 30 minutes after we get the requirements from the game.
The important thing is if the game will have a public test or plan to release the game, please tell us the following information as below. We will prepare the resources the game needs in advance to support the test and release.
- Title Region ID: It is generated by the PGOS backend and the game can see it on the portal.
- Estimated PCU: such as 20,000 PCU/month. It's an option, if you have the estimated data, it would be better.
- Test Plan/Release Plan: For example, the game will have an OBT test from 1st May to 30th May. The game will be released on 1st May.

We will also support opening a case on the PGOS ticket system to apply for a new title region in Q4 2023, so stay tuned.
