Introduction

1. Product Introduction​

Overlay personal chat allows players to start a one-to-one chat with their friends. In a personal chat, players can send text messages, speech-to-text messages, emojis, etc.,which satisfies the social needs in games and makes communication between players easier and smoother.

2. Function Description​

2.1 PC & Console Platform​

2.1.1 Create a chat​

On the friend list, players can select a friend and click "MESSAGE" at the bottom of the friend's personal profile to go to the chat window. In this way, players can quickly start a chat with this friend.

2.1.2 Chat list​

The chat list includes personal chat and group chat conversations. Players can filter chat conversations by friend's name or group chat name. After players click a conversation, the chat window will be displayed on the right.

2.1.3 Chat functions​

2.1.3.1 Send a text message​

Players can enter text in the input box and press Enter to send a message.

2.1.3.2 Send an Emoji​

Players can click the emoji button above the input box and select an emoji to send for better social experience.

2.1.4 New chat message notification​

A red dot will be displayed in the following two places to indicate new chat messages:

  • The level 1 chat menu button on the left
  • Conversations on the chat list

New chat messages will be automatically moved to the top of the chat list and chat conversations are sorted in reverse chronological order by the time of the last message in each conversation.
